WE NEED A NEUTRAL PERSON - ERNEST AFAYAM

Chairman Afayam urges the president to elect a neutral person without any political interference and one who will be acceptable by all,and conducts a free & fair election.

He said this based on the topic "PRESIDENT TO NAME NEW EC BY THE CLOSE OF THE WEEK".

He concluded that,we need to avoid CHAOS in subsequent elections,so the president should elect a competent person and the one who has the country at heart.

His opponent KWAKU FRIMPONG (NPP Communications team member) rebated ,He said no one sacked the EC but the law did, so the opposition party (NDC) should stop saying that the president did.

So he believes that the president (Nana Akuffo Addo Dankwah) will appoint a competent person who has Ghana at heart and will work with National interest.

The host Okyeremaba Yaw Antwi Bosiako posed the issue of taxes on board to be dissected,Chairman Afayam said the president campaigned against high taxes and he and all the NDC members are praying that the finance minister won't mention any TAX INCREMENT in the budget else Ghanaians will be very mad and hoot at them and even those in their graves who joined NANA ADDO in the 1995 "KU ME PREKO" demonstration will be sleepless and be turning around.

Kwaku Frimpong said, the president and the NPP has restored teacher and nurses trainee allowance, free SHS is also active and if the taxes are increased, it will help in more developmental projects and as well lead to financial freedom.
